It's been a busy month, and to be honest, somewhat life changing and as most changes are, a little stressful!    The band Stone Hollow and I competed in the Colgate Country Showdown.  I had a blast!  Thanks to all of you who came out to support us!  The Marlin James Band won the preliminary round.  They were absolutely wonderful!  Congratulation to them!  I've also decided to change direction a bit, and will be forming a new band in the very near future.  I've been with the musicians of Alibi/Stone Hollow for about two years and have come to love and respect the musicians a lot,  but I feel that I need a change and a different direction.  I'm focusing on songwriting, co-writing with some talented songwriters and learning a lot.  I'm  also talking with several musicians and have some things in the works in that area.  I've decided to go for a top 40, somewhat edgier sound with some rock influences, don't worry I'll still be country!  I'm working on new material and will be in Nashville April 2-6th to record the first song on the new project.  Be checking the site, I'll have more information about that when I return.  I'd like to thank my friends with Stone Hollow Band, you're like family and I'll miss you.  I've learned a lot from all of you.

Hi everyone.  I just returned from Kimble TN (south of Nashville), where I recorded the vocals on the first song on my new CD project.  Next week the producer will add the fiddle and lead guitar and whatever else he decides to do, lol.  Anyway I'll have the final mix of "Why Do All the Weirdos End up With Me?" in about two weeks.  This is the first song I've co-written for the new CD,  with talented songwriter Michael Coleman of "See Your Shadow" songwriting.

The new song "Why do all the weirdos end up with me" which  was recorded in Kemble TN with producer Mike Headrick and is being mixed at EMI in Nashville.  I should have it by the end of the month.  I'm planning to build a myspace music page and post it on there so you can listen to it.  You'll also be able to hear it on soundclick.com also!

Good News, Michael Coleman, my co-writer for the song "Weirdos" has been pitching the song to publishers in Nashville.  One publisher in particular has shown a lot of interest in the song, and hopes to find a major artist to include it as an albumn cut.

August, 2007

"Weirdo's is receiving a lot of airplay in Austrialia, 31 plays this week alone.  Sure wish it was easier to get airplay in the US.

September, 2007

I've just joined forces with Don Wells Productions in Nashville TN.  I will be visiting with Don next month to perform at some of the Nashville clubs and discuss furture plans!  I'm very, very excited!

October, 2007

I just spent 3 days in Nashville performing at Tootsie's (twice), Second Fiddle, The Stage, and Legends, all clubs on the famous Broadway street.  I also met several musicians and songwriters and did a private concert for Don Wells productions and guests.   We're looking into a possible USO tour, talking to  musicians, and planning future bookings.
